I alone knows the plan I have for you, plans of peace and not for disaster ,plan for expected end.

I want to thank God ,who gives us the grace to write today. Lack of knowledge has been our problems,.

Where purpose is not understood failure is inevitable,

This season of pandemic has really dealt with the high and might,rich and poor ,lazy man and smart man.

The wise and the fools were badly affected.

It gives me great concern when we declare our new year resolution annually but at the end of the year ,we still find out that we are still far from our declaration.

It is not our faults because there are lots of unforseen eventualities.

No matter whatever we claim every year,we need to be proactive.

Last 4 years was your year of evidential testimony, 3 yrs ago was ,your year of business breakthrough. Last year ,your year of business expansion, and this year  was your year of possessing your business possession.Which of your theme for these four years were you able to achieve.

Dont ever give up no matter the covid 19 economic crises.There is still hope .

For us to run our business well this season, 

We have to believe in our prayers ,

We have to take stock of our previous businesses before and after pandemic,we have to work with out hands.

Which areas did you do well and which area do you need amendment.

If your business needs new ideas why don't you introduce it.You need to be innovative.

This Pandemic took everyone unawares ,but life has to move on.

It has only given us room to reinvent.

Some who laid their eggs in one baskets have learnt a bad lesson while some others who also laid their eggs in the same one  baskets are rejoicing,I mean those who are into essential businesses etc.

Those who lost their jobs and businesses are many.But that isn't the end of life.I strongly believe that when one door closes many other doors will definitely open.

We need to be mindful of government policies,seasons etc .

We need to consider all these things and many more.Paradventure we want to navigate into a new business or office.

Does your business need your attention and you abandon it at the mercy of your workers, who are not giving you return s, then you have to take actions.

Find out if those who are managing your business are killing it or frustrating it.

Are you sure they are getting good incentive from you ?that's motivation,little financial encouragement can go far to get the best from them.

If you look depressed or have a sour attitude about things going on in your business or competition, it is going to spread and affect your entire team. That said, it is crucial that you be a positive leader regardless of how challenging the situation might be.They are looking up to you.

Start this with your team. After all, your team needs constant motivation for them to perform at their high level continually. Something as simple as giving them a compliment and sincere praise goes a long way. The key here is to make each of your team members feel and know that they are integral parts of your business. Remember, a business is only as good as the people who run it. If you want to position your business for success, you need to make sure that your team sees it as such. This begins with you.”

Many years ago when I was running my mini restaurant business in Onitsha before I came to Lagos to establish Weddingmasters Company.I never knew that I had many customers until I declared a Christmas bonanza for all,I went and bought about 100 plastic cups costing  me not more than 3000naira then and the condition was that whoever buys food from me gets a free gift ,the rushing to my shop them was very encouraging ,hat was when I knew that we Nigerian value appreciation and free gift,Customers were trooping my shop to eat just to get my free cup.I became the talk of the town.For that 3 days I had a serious sales increase and the upper year my business attracted much customers. So if you want a better business next year ,start appreciating the customers you have,even if its a hand fan ,make a sacrifice it will yield increase,

Changing your business location.

Some people will say because a  shop is expensive and they will leave it and go rent a cheaper shop ,but at the end of the year they are not making any profit ,meanwhile some people may rent an expensive shop and at the end of the year they make much turn over and profits. So which one do you prefer,?

At a time  in my event business in Lagos I had to vacate my shop because my shop  rent kept increasing and business was not coming from there,rather my phone became my office because God has helped us to build a wider network of client base,so to me then I can operate from any place. So 

See if  changing ur location can help you in 2020

Is your expenses more than your income? If you claim expansion from here to Jericho it can't work, unless you curtail expenditure, Does your business require sales girl on salary or servant boy like Biblical Jacob who will be settled after some years.Try and get your priorities well .. 

Sometimes when you see couples running one business they have their reasons, Your husband or wife could be a good manager if you can bring him  or her closer to the business ,instead of staying idle at home.I  am not talking of some few individual who is scattering why their spouse is gathering, if you are in this category ,you have to repent in 2020 .

Upgrade learn.Subject your self to new training and don't depend on what you know 10 years ago,there are new ways of doing things now.Don't just jump into a business,, because if you jump in ,you will jump out.Have a good knowledge of the business you want to start.

Don't be lazy. Be hardworking and God will bless you, whatever you lay your hand God promises to bless it,remind God his word. .

Have you taken stock of your business before?  You keep on pushing money into your business without taking stock of eventries.If your sales girls or staff discovered that  you don't know the amount of goods in your shop or warehouse ,they will take the advantage to liquidate your business, and you will keep blaming one uncle in your Village,thoughs we are not ignorant of the devises of our enemy,  be wise be wise,Bible says we should  be as wise as a serpent and gentle as dove ....

Procrastination

Another reason is procrastination ,

You have refused to start small ,you want to start big,have you ever ask God if his plans for you is to start small.,if God wants you to start small and you want to start big ,God will be looking at you ,and you will end up the whole year claiming my year of expansion ,and not expanding.

Are you in the right place of business? Do you have Gods hand in that place you are or you are forcing your self, remember Bro Peter cast his net in the wrong place after three days ,nothing for him not until Christ showed him where to position his net for breakthrough. I guess Peter may be shouting my week of breakthrough! My week of breakthrough but he was in the wrong place ,some of us are like Peter ,unless you change in applying some of the principles highlighted above ,you may keep shouting my year of elevation to 2021 ,may it not be your portion.

Heavenly father give me wisdom to operate my business .

Holy spirit, show me the areas am missing it in my business.

Abba father,your plans for me are not of disaster but peace, every disaster am experiencing or waiting for my business , lord deliver me in Jesus name amen 

Father ,I strongly believe that you giveth the power to make wealth (Deut 8 vs 18)

Lord from now on I want you to talk to me and have your name glorified in my life.

In Jesus name amen.
